We wish to advise all our valued stakeholders that very soon we will be rebranding from Altfin Medical Aid scheme to a new name which will be unveiled shortly in the coming year.
During the month of September 2016 we divested from the Altfin Holdings stable to stand as a separate and independent company from the Altfin Holdings group. This was as a result of our buy-out by new shareholders into our business unit. We at Altfin Health Company, the administrators of Altfin Medical Aid Scheme are in our lifetime now evolving and being an entity under totally new investors.
The business was bought as a going concern and therefore there will be no changes to the member benefits. The transition will be seamless and members will not be prejudiced in anyway. Members’ scheme benefits and entitlements will remain as per current scheme benefits, rules and guidelines.
We will soon assume a new name and brand logo. That change-over process is currently underway with the relevant regulatory authorities. Once that process has been completed we will embark on a massive and extensive rebranding program.
Now that Altfin Health Company is a stand-alone entity, it is important that we clearly show that evolution by rebranding the company. The rebranding will happen in two phase. The first phase will be the rebranding of the administration company Altfin Health Company. The second stage will see us rebranding Altfin Medical Aid Scheme (the fund) to which our members subscribe and belong.
The rebranding program is currently at regulatory requirement and compliance stages. In terms of name change process, among other back hand processes, we refer to our press advert in the Herald of Friday 02 December 2016 which is a regulatory public notice of company name change.
In the same vein our valued network of service providers will continue to enjoy the cordial working relations and alliances we have always committed to, and will not in any way be prejudiced by the rebranding program.
The objective of our rebranding is to clearly show our commitment to growth and superiority as well as our desire to continue being relevant to all our stakeholders. This seeks to offer our stakeholders enhanced value return for their continued loyalty and support to what they have known as Altfin Medical Aid Scheme over the years. This seeks to give our stakeholders confidence on the back of current misconceptions emanating from our previous relations with Altfin Holdings group of companies.
We hope that as we move into a new phase of our life we will continue to be relevant and not only meet, but exceed, your expectations in as much as we are excited and energised by our rebranding.
